A Food Safety Supervisor needs to be able to…
- Recognise, prevent and alleviate the hazards associated with food handling at your premises;
- Supervise other people handling food at your premises and ensure that food handling is done safely.
- In many states, they must have a Statement of Attainment with the appropriate competencies from a Registered Training Organisation (such a Food Safety Australia).
